Work Related Injuries

Work-related injuries are common and sometimes debilitating. High-risk occupations, a lack of safety devices or training and repetitive stresses are all common causes of injury. The most common workplace injuries stem from repetitive, forceful, or prolonged use of the hands and prolonged awkward postures. Injuries to the spine or back pain injuries are also common if you operate heavy machinery, lift heavy objects, or accidentally fall from a considerable height.

AOKC Urgent OrthoCare treats a variety of work-related injuries including sprains, fractures, bone dislocations, tendonitis, bursitis, torn meniscus, and damaged cartilage.

Car Accidents or Personal Injury Claims

Sprains, minor scrapes, cuts, and open wounds are the most common, nonfatal injuries suffered by drivers and passengers involved in traffic accidents. Car accidents can cause any number of injuries, to almost any part of your body, depending on the circumstances of the crash and severity of the impact.

It’s important to be properly examined by a doctor for orthopedic injuries that might be obtained in auto accidents. Although fractures usually are quite painful, it is possible that you have a fracture and are unaware of it. Spinal fractures are particularly important to diagnose with immediacy. An undiagnosed and untreated spinal fracture may lead to further bodily injury or a life-threatening condition such as paralysis.

Other injuries that may be hard to notice are brain injuries and muscle or ligament tears.

LOPs are accepted, after approval. Please contact info@aokc.net to obtain approval.
